Today as it was expected Samsung announced its first tablet computer. Unfortunately Samsung Galaxy Tab didn’t get AMOLED display but instead it supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE, UMTS/HSDPA and can make calls. The device runs on Google Android 2.2 operating system and features 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, PowerVR SGX540 graphics chip, 512MB RAM, 7 inch TFT touch screen with WSVGA (1024×600px) resolution. Other specifications include 16GB or 32GB internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 32GB), 3MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, 1.3MP webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5 mm headphones jack, gyroscope, accelerometer, light sensor. This tablet measures 190х120.5х12mm and weights 380g. The battery has 4000 mAh capacity and provides 7 hours of video playback. Samsung Galaxy Tab will be released in Europe in next two weeks. Unfortunately there is no official information about price.
