During SID 2010 exhibition Samsung demonstrated its world’s first transparent 19 inch AMOLED display. The transparency can reach about 30%. The developers of this technology are sure that such displays have great potential and can be used not only in laptops but also as advertising screens in big stores, airport and etc. It is also said that Samsung will introduce 40 inch transparent AMOLED screen in the begging of 2010.
