Pandigital company is well know digital photo frames producer. But recently it unveiled its first e-book reader. Pandigital Novel is powered by Google’s Android operating system and is equipped with 7 inch full color touch-screen display with 800×600px resolution, ARM11 processor, 1 GB internal storage, Wi-Fi, SD/MMC external memory card slot (supporting up to 32GB cards), accelerometer, 3.5mm headphones jack. This e-reader also features integrated Barnes & Noble eBookstore app. In spite of the fact this device is posited as e-book reader it has also multimedia functions including HD video (720p) playback. The battery provides about 6 hour of work time. Pandigital Novel e-reader will become available in June for $200.
