Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two

There were a great number of rumors about these devices but only two days ago Microsoft officially confirmed their existence. The first mobile phones by Microsoft are Kin One and Kin Two. Both these devices have social media slant and have close integration with popular social networks like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and etc. Kin One and Kin Two run on one of the modified versions of Windows Phone 7 operating system with special user interface. The big two features unique to these UI are being called “Spot” and “Loop.” Loop is sort of the Kin’s home screen, aggregating social content from your friends roughly based on order of priority. Spot, meanwhile, is an ever-present green dot at the bottom of the screen where you can drag content — just about any content, be it maps, images, status updates, videos — and share it with contacts.
