Google develops real time translation service

Nowadays a lot of mobile phones users have foreign friends or business and face with language barrier. Google is going to change this situation. According to Franz Och, Google’s head of translation services, that speech-to-speech translation should be possible and work reasonably well in a few years and Google is doing its best to approach this date. Special software installed to mobile device will be converted to text, translated and send to recipient phone that will convert text to voice. This technology is still in its concept phase but given the steps Google has already taken with its online translation service, and more with its GoogleVoice technology, so we hope it will not be too long before we start to see this technology implemented into tomorrow’s devices.
