Yesterday Google unveiled its operating system and published its source code. Google Chrome OS is said to be revolutionary and is expected to turn over views on data management methods. This coming operating system is intended to work with only online applications not usual ones. According to developers devices that will run on Chrome OS will not need hard disks, only simple SSD to store some system files. Moreover it will be impossible to install this operating system to usual computers. Google believes that present-day technology of data storage has already become out of date like Windows. Three key principles of this OS are speed (it loads in 7 seconds), simplicity and security. At the same time it doesn’t require a lot of hardware resources. However future users of this OS will not have opportunity to run any present day game or graphics editor. It is also known that at present moment Google carries on negotiations with numerous software developers and is going to provide a lot of web applications by the time of release of the first devices running on Chrome OS.
