P88 tablet PC - non-existent Apple Tablet clone

Shenzhen Great Long Brother Industrial Co. Has just unveiled its new tablet – P88. It is notable that this device is very similar to Apple Tablet that has not been officially announced yet. The P88 runs On Windows XP OS and features a 10.2 inch touch screen with 1024×600 px resolution, Intel Atom 1.6 GHz CPU, 1 Gb RAM, 160 Gb hard disk, VGA, card rider, Wi-Fi, LAN, GPS and 3G modules. There is also stylus and metal bracket as units. The battery life is about 1.5 hrs. The dimensions are 280×180×22 mm, the weight is 1.03 kg. The P88 tablet will become available in next few weeks and will cost $440.

Well, that means battery life sucks, the screen sucks because of resolution (too small) and because of no capacative screen (because it uses a stylus).
Too bad the Chinese do not innovate more.
The iPad works for 10 hours, has a capacitive screen 1024×768 and is slimmer and about the same price.

Yes, I agree! But iPad sucks too. 1 GHz CPU, no frontal camera, no multitasking, max 64 Gb storage and f**ng iTunes for $500. I’m sure Chinese will produce smth better for $200 next week

The only thing innovative about the ipad is it’s 10 hours of battery life. I mean really, at least the P88 isn’t just a giant ipod touch. Also, the P88 runs an actual OS while the iPad is stuck using the iphone OS. Apple really didn’t do anything special with the iPad, and even though I am an avid non-Apple user, even I am disappointed with the iPad.
