Some sources have already published first photos of another Fujitsu’s tablet computer. Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is expected to be shown at CES 2012 in Hanover. This device is based on NVIDIA Tegra 3 platform and is equipped with 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1280×800px resolution, HDMI output, 8MP camera, 3MP front-facing camera for video calls, 16GB internal storage, MicroSD card slot. The operating system is Android 3.2 Honeycomb but is expected the device will get Android Ice Cream Sandwich update till the moment of release that will take place on May. The price will be about EUR500.

First time Meizu officially announced this smartphone last August. At first it was scheduled it to become available in September, 2011 but this date was carried over. Only yesterday Meizu confirmed that this device will become available on January, 1st. Together with release date the company also shared coming device’s list of specifications.

Meizu MX is based on 1.4Ghz dual-core Samsung Exynos chip and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread that will soon be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The smartphone has 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with 960×640px resolution, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP camera, front-facing 0,3MP camera for video calls, two microphones, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack. In China Meizu MX will cost about $470. Later Meizu will also release 16GB version of this smartphone.

Yesterday ZTE announced its second tablet computer. ZTE Light Tab 2 runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS and is based on 1.4GHz single-core processor by Qualcomm. The tablet is equipped with 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024×600px resolution, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 3.2MP camera, front-facing VGA camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G module, 3400mAh battery. No word about release date and price.

Today Motorola started sale of its new smartphone in Europe. Without any additional obligations Motorola RAZR costs about 500 EUR. In US this device will be sold as Motorola Droid RAZR and will become available on November, 11. Most of observers highly appreciated this device’s design – it has very thin 7mm body made of Kevlar, aluminum and Gorilla Glass.

Motorola RAZR is based on TI OMAP 4430 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. During Nokia World event Nokia announced its new flagship smartphone. Nokia Lumia 800 seems to have much in common with Nokia N9. But it runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango but not on Symbian operating system and has some modifications. Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone features 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 3.7-inch AMOLED ClearBlack capacitive touchscreen with 480×800px resolution, and 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics. Other specifications include 512MB RAM, 16GB ROM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack. The battery has 1450mAh capacity and provides 13 and 19 hours of talk time in 2G and 3G networks respectively. The dimensions are 116.5×61.2×12.1mm, the weight is 142g. Each owner of Nokia Lumia 800 will get 25GB space on SkyDrive cloud storage. The smartphone has been already available for pre-order. The price is 420EUR.

As it was expected yesterday Google together with Samsung announced new version of Android operating system and the first smartphone running on it.

This new device is called Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It runs on Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and features TI OMAP dual-core processor with 1.2GHz clock, 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen with 1280×720px resolution, NFC chip, and barometer. Other specifications of this device are quite typical for other high-end smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Nexus has 5MP camera supporting Full HD video recording, 1GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB internal storage, front-facing 1.3MP camera for video calls, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, 1750mAh battery, 3.5mm headphones jack, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, light and proximity sensor. It is surprising that this smartphone has no such modules as HDMI output and MicroSD card slot. The device measures 135.5х68×9mm and weights 135g.

While Samsung Galaxy Nexus doesn’t surprise much new Android Ice Cream Sandwich does. The new version of Google’s operating is designed to unify the platform to run both on smartphones and tablets. New Android 4.0 is said to have new user interface, faster performance and a great number of new options and functions. Some of them can be seen on this screenshots.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus will become available in November. The price will range from $600 to $720. It is expected that mobile operators will sell this smartphone for $200 with two-year contract.

Today Motorola together with AT&T mobile operator officially announced Atrix 2 smartphone. This device is based on a dual-core processor with 1GHz clock and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The smartphone is equipped with 4.3-inch touchscreen with 960×540px resolution, 8MP camera with LED flash, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, MicroSD card slot. Another feature of this device is its doc-station - Lapdock 100. It transforms Motorola Atrix 2 to a netbook. The smartphone will become available on October, 16 and will cost $99 with two-year contract with AT&T.

This device is based on a dual-core processor with 1.2GHz clock and runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024×600px resolution, 1GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB internal storage, 3MP camera with LED flash, front-facing 2MP sensor for video calls, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 4000mAh battery, digital compass, accelerometer, proximity and light sensor. The dimensions are 193.65х122.37х9.96mm, the weight Is 345g. In the end of October Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will become available in Austria and Indonesian countries. In other regions it will appear some weeks later.

Yesterday Nokia started shipping of its latest smartphone – Nokia N9. The device is available in three colors- black, blue and red. 16GB version costs about EUR480 while 64GB one is sold for EUR560. This new Nokia’s flagship smartphone is based on a combination 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 OMAP3630 processor, PowerVR SGX530 graphics accelerator and MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan operating system. Nokia N9 has 3.9-inch 854×480px AMOLED touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, 1GB RAM, Carl Zeiss 8MP autofocus camera with double LED flash, front-facing camera for video calls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, 3.5mm headphones jack.

Today Fujitsu-Toshiba announced some new Android devices. Arrows Z ISW11F seems to be the most interesting among them. Fujitsu-Toshiba Arrows Z ISW11F is a water-resistant smartphone running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. It is based on 1.2GHz TI OMAP4430 dual-core processor and is equipped with 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1280×720px resolution, 13MP camera, front-facing 1.3MP camera for video calls, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, HDMI output. There are also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC modules. The dimensions are 128х64х10.1mm, the weight is 131g. Fujitsu-Toshiba Arrows Z will become available in Japan in November. In other countries it is expected to be released some months later.

Chinese Xiaomi, a company that announced Xiaomi M1, has just introduced another high-end class smartphone. Xiaomi MI-One features a combination of an affordable price – just $315 - and a very impressive list of specifications. The device is powered by Google Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system and is equipped with 4-inch capacitive touchscreen with 854×480px resolution, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, Adreno 220 graphics accelerator, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 8MP camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS. The battery of this smartphone has 1930mAh capacity and provides about two days of active work time. The device supports both GSM and WCDMA networks. The dimensions are 125х63х11.9mm, the weight is 149g. Xiaomi is also going to release a cheaper version of MI-One smartphone – it will have 1.2GHz chip.

Today Samsung showed its new smartphone designed for people who prefer active life-style. Samsung Galaxy Xcover features a rugged body that satisfies IP67 standard requirements - it is water, dust, shock resistant. The producer didn’t share new device’s list of specifications but it is known that the smartphone supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSDPA 900/2100 networks, runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and is equipped with 3.65-inch capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass protective covering, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, accelerometer, proximity sensor, 3.2MP AF camera. Samsung Galaxy Xcover will become available next month.

Yesterday Japan Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications introduced a smartphone that is positioned as the world’s first smartphone running on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. But it is not the only feature - the device is made in rugged body that satisfies IPX5 standard requirements! The device also features 13.2MP AF camera supporting Full HD video recording and Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8655 processor. Other specifications of Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T include 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen with 480×800px resolution, 32GB internal storage, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth (2.1 + EDR), GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack. The battery of this smartphone has 1460mAh capacity and provides about 6.5 hours of talk time or 9 days of standby one. The dimensions are 118×59x11mm, the weight is 133g. Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T will become available in Japan in the beginning of September. But it expected that this WP7 smartphone will be released in other countries too. No word about price.
